New Pictures of the Baby....well kind of! lol! & Nursery photos!

We went a week or so ago to have another 4D Ultrasound done and got some good pictures of little Audrey...She is doing great and growing like a weed....which in turn makes me grow like a weed but that is alright...only a couple more months left! :-) So..here she is!

I suck at this Blog thing!!

Ok so I know that I really suck at this whole Blog thing!!!! But here is a little update on what is going on with us. I went to the Doctor last week and she said that everything is looking good with me and the baby. After my Doctors appointment i went and had my every-4-week ultrasound and the baby is doing GREAT in there! She was 2lbs 8oz (approx) when they measured her last Thursday...so she is measuring a little on the big side. I will be 28 weeks tomorrow so we are getting there! Around 30 weeks I will start to go to the Hospital 2 times a week for Fetal Monitoring...due to my high blood presser (that is not an issue)...so we are doing great. Dan has been working like crazy on the baby's room. We have it painted and the bead board up (thanks to the help of my dad). He is going to paint the bead board this week and then we can set up the crib....so we are coming right along. I will make sure that i take some pictures and post them. Other than that it has been business as usual...oh did i mention that i am only working part time right now 9-3...it is GREAT! I don't think i am going to want to go back to work full time..haha! Sorry it has been so long

I know I have not posted anything in a long time. I did get my mom to take a picture of Dan and I at a wedding this last weekend. Everyone has been asking about the "baby bump" well here it is! I hope that everyone is doing well! Lots of love!!! xoxo

We werent gonna find out.....but we changed our mind!

So we went to have a 3D Ultrasound on Sunday. It was amazing! Great to see the little one in there! We took the whole family, Patty, Paul, Robyn, Maggie, Chase, Bobby, Doug, Lisa, Shanna and my side kick Shannon. The baby was being very difficult (hopefully not a sign to come) and had his/her legs crossed pretty much the whole time. We were just about to give up and the legs came uncrossed and the baby showed us that in fact we are welcoming a baby GIRL into our home in June. We were so sure that we were having a boy that we were a little shocked when the ultrasound tech said Girl...then the excitement set in...all the pretty dresses and dance classes and soccer games. Dan was a little worried at first but he is much better today. He is not to sure about little girls. Anyone who knows how over protective he was for his little sister Shanna knows that little Guentert is going to have to stand her ground with her dear old dad! :-) So that is the exciting news. YAY!

Merry Christmas / Happy New Year

I know it has been FOREVER since i have posted anything on here and i am so sorry for that but better late than never right! I hope that the holidays were wonderful for everyone. We had a great one as well. Christmas Day was busy. We started off at Doug and Lisa's house and did Christmas with the Guentert's and then off to Patty and Paul's for Christmas with the McDonald's and my mom invited the Guentert's over for dinner so we could all be together. It was wonderful. So nice for Dan and I to be able to get together with both families and not have to split up the holidays. After a GREAT dinner of prime rib i helped my parents clean up and it was off to bed as we left for Canada the very next morning. Our flight left at 10am on the 26th. When we arrived in Toronto it was cold and there was a TON of snow. Little did we know that we were in for a little change in weather. The next two days that we were there it heated up and rained for two days taking almost all the snow away! :-( We had a good time visiting with all the family. Dan and I don't know when we will get back there again so it was great to spend time with everyone.

So now we are home and back to normal. I have a Doctor's appointment on the 19th and my "big" Ultrasound on the 26th so i will keep you posted. Baby and Mommy are doing good so far. My belly is growing every day. Can wait to meet the little one. Here is a picture of me at 15 weeks. I am 17 weeks now ...i need to take another picture.

The Guentert's

Doctors Appointment / Ultrasound

So I went to the Doctor this morning and talked to her about my blood pressure. She seemed to think that there was nothing to worry about but they are going to watch me close to make sure that my blood pressure doesn't get out of control and hurt the baby. It is well under control right now on the medication i have been taking and is perfectly safe for our little baby. So the plan of action is to watch the blood pressure and have a Ultrasound every 4 weeks to check the babies growth!

So after my appointment with her we (my sister came with me...Dan had to work) went for my Ultrasound (they were checking for birth defects today) Everything looked great. The baby was AMAZING. He/She was moving all around flipping over on his/her stomach and moving so much that the ultrasound technician was having a hard time getting his/her heart beat. Once the little one settled down for a moment she was able to get a good heart beat and it was 155 bpm, which is perfectly normal. I have some pictures but am having a hard time getting them loaded in the computer. If i can get them uploaded I will make sure to post them.

I hope that you are all enjoying your Holiday Season! Dan and I got our tree last weekend and it is BEAUTIFUL! Cooter is a little curious and wants to help with the un-decorating but we are keeping him away for now. That is pretty much it with us for now. Keep in touch.
